Camp Paha is the City of Lakewood’s 7 week summer day program for youth with disabilities ages 6-17. Camp Paha focuses on fun and learning in a safe in supportive environment. The Paha Adults in Transition program, or PAT, is similar to Camp Paha but serves young adults with disabilities age 18-25 and focuses on enhancing independence and work skills. You may have noticed a new style of left turn signal in Lakewood at 14th and Wadsworth. This type of signal is for left turning drivers and is located over the left turn lane. As funds become available in coming years, this type of signal will replace all traditional circular green left turn signals.

The City has installed a new type of traffic signal - a HAWK (High-intensity Activated Crosswalk) at 260 Union. The HAWK makes it easier for pedestrians to cross Union Blvd. to access both businesses and the Federal Center light rail station. It also minimizes traffic delays.
