Make a Police Report

The Lakewood Police Department offers many ways for you to report a crime or other incident. Choose from the options below:

For emergency calls requiring immediate response please dial 911.


For non-emergency calls where you desire an officer to respond out or contact you by phone, please dial (303) 980-7300.


For any other crime we encourage you to use our online reporting system.


This system allows you to report:


  • Damage to:
    • Property
    • Vehicles (Non-Traffic Accident Related)
  • Theft:
    • From a building (Unlocked and open to the public)
    • Shoplifting (Theft of merchandise from a business)
    • From a locker (Student use only)
    • From inside a vehicle
    • Of motor vehicle parts
    • All other thefts
    • Lost property
