Neighborhood Organizations

The City of Lakewood encourages neighborhood organizations to take an active role in setting directions for their neighborhoods.  Through registered neighborhood organizations citizens have opportunities to become involved in local government and strengthen their community.

Benefits of participating in a registered neighborhood organization include:

  • Receiving notification about proposed land-use changes within or near the neighborhood's boundaries,
  • Improved communication with neighbors,
  • A raised awareness of the neighborhood's needs, concerns and desires.

Register your Neighborhood Organization!

For initial registrations, please fill out the Neighborhood and Community Organization Registration Form.  Once completed, you can email the completed form to or mail it to the address listed at the bottom of this page.
